RE: New Website
So much better and modern. Very clean and nice indeed.

Don't know if this is off-topic but I have a suggestion.
I'm one of these guys that came over from Leadwerks
and one thing I really miss from that site is the Blogs-Area.

Would it be possible to have a blog area where each user
could write he's blog. Of course there is no problem writing
blogs using Blogger or similar but then the chance that you
stumble on other Esenthel blogs are quite small. Having a
blog in the Esenthel site would be nice because then it's easy
to see what other's are doing and it also draws some more
attention to the site. This was it would be easy for us and the
public to at a common place see what people are working with.

Just a thought.

Anyway. Good work smile

RE: New Website
I won't jump on the bandwagon of praising. Sure, it's better than the old one.
But you should really hire a freelancer to design a great looking website, slick and modern.

Let me be frank. This design combined with the statement: "Esenthel Engine is a Next-Gen computer Game Engine, aiming to be the Best in the Universe."
just looks cheesy and cheap. The same goes for the tagline on Facebook.Esenthel can't be the best in the Universe and we all know it.

Be humble and let the technology speak for itself. Esenthel has a good price. Focus on that.

I agree with you about hiring a professional freelancer to make it a modern website . but I disagree with the point that esenthel can't be the best .
it can be as long as he is working on it all the time
when you work on something hard and smart you must be sure that you'll reap the good results at last . good luck smile

Other engines have dozens to hundreds of people working on it all the time. smile
It's a matter of pure manpower too.

Edit: Site is cool indeed. smile

RE: New Website
Nobody is saying that he isn't doing fantastic work considering he is doing it all on his own. But that fact alone isn't compatible with the statement to be the best engine in the universe. Professional developers just sneer at such statements, then take a look at the rather special tools and move along.

I would just focus on the fact that Esenthel is a great cross-platform engine for a cool price. In the last company I worked I was responsible for technical direction and the fact that Esenthel has just one developer was a no go for the board. So they decided against it and we selected an overpriced, blown-up engine (that everyone knows) which was way too big for a rather small team.

Esenthel is a great engine for smaller teams. Those that don't have the time to develop all the cross-platform features on their own. Teams that want a quick and simple art pipeline and don't care about some extreme flexibility that i.e. Unreal Engine provides. And teams that just can't afford expensive engines and even the Unity Pro licenses would be too much. Esenthel is a one-stop solution for the most important platforms except consoles which just costs $199 per seat and includes updates forever.

RE: New Website
I like it! It's a lot nicer than the old design. A few suggestions:
- The whole page is aligned left. It would be nice if it was centered
- On mouseover, some of the tabs at the top cannot be read(color issue)
- Under "Info": "Esenthel Engine is a Next-Gen computer Game Engine" should be clarified- Esenthel is not just for computer games!
- Under "Feature List": the navigation pane is 1/2 way down the list. It should be at the top(without the "top" option) or it should stay on screen as the user scrolls
- Under "Feature List": middle-clicking to scroll does not work
- Under "Store": When clicking on an object in the store, the box that pops up (with information and download links, etc) is half way off the screen to the left, so much of the information cannot be seen.

Using IE9.

RE: New Website
I think the content is better with this new organization, but the webdesign could be improved smile
The tabs and buttons might be redesigned, and I am not a big fan of the green color for some buttons... Why not an orange color from the logo ?

No display bug on Firefox.

RE: New Website

If you would like to increase a user further, I do the recommendation of making twitter account.
Since twitter has more Geek than Facebook, it can advertise to many programmers very easily.
Unity is efficiently advertised using twitter and is improving the number of users.
(The engine quality is not so, eithersmile)

Esenthel - Japanese only...including me
https://twitter.com/search?q=Esenthel&sr...f=realtime

#Esenthel - Zero because since a user is not so that a hash tag is made smile
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Esenthel...f=realtime

#Unity3d - There is very much post. bot(s) are also a large number.
https://twitter.com/search?q=%23unity3d&...f=realtime

#UDK - Although there is nothing few, there are also no many compared with Unity.
