Problem with hpRt
Hi!

When I enable high precision render target aka D.hpRt(true);.
I get this artifact:

It only happens on my desktop and not on my laptop.
My desktop has an ATI HD3850 and my laptop an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570

Have you guys any ideas why this happens?

EDIT: Tried reinstalling my drivers but that didn't help :(

Well those green boxes are just not supposed to be there.
I''m using catalyst version 10.6 and I haven't altered the settings so I suppose they are set on default? or optimal?

RE: Problem with hpRt
Sound a little strange, so whats in the scene? empty space and sky with sun? Also, how did you install the drivers? wiped old drivers first?

Have you noticed any overheating on your card? Directx version? are you running dx9 or 10+ build? and which operating system(just for comparison)

Im running HD5850 10.6, 2xHD3870 and never had this problem.

It's just empty space and sky with a sun.
I removed the drivers first and then reinstalled them.

I'm using DirectX 9.0c and I have Windows XP home edition 32-bit.
Haven't installed the directX sdk though.. I can try installing the sdk to see if that works.

I can post a full dxdiag if you like?

RE: Problem with hpRt
Maybe you had old version of DirectX, because DirectX SDK isn't required in EE anymore.
