Autodesk Photofly
Has anyone looked at Autodesks Photofly? I recently stumbled upon the project and was intrigued. It looks like a great way for Indie companies to get real life objects into their game without having to invest in expensive laser scanners etc.

Has anyone else done anything with this?

Obviously it is not perfect, but this is done with a simple camera.

You can see more about it here.

Yeah, that's something Adidas did. Some people have done this with historic statues etc, to get them in the proper proportions for their game. Statues of Napoleon, etc.

RE: Autodesk Photofly
Yeah its amazing... when it works properly.

It takes dozens of sets of photos and experimentation to get geometry with concave features and holes to work properly.
