free versus paid lic
question bout the engine, i have downloaded the sdk and had issues with it updating and not showing as expected, ie editor looks grainy and way big for the screen resolution so large i cannot shut it off without a control alt delete intervention. not what the video's show for sure..

if i pay for the license am i getting a program or the same sdk with more code options with it..

i have used visual c++ very very lightly in a very led by the hand way.

if thats what the paid for license is i think it may be beyond me to use, my team coder will prolly jump for joy. but i need to know before considering it either way..

thanks for your patience

Check this http://www.esenthel.com/?id=buy

there you know what's added to a license compared to the free SDK smile

RE: free versus paid lic
seen that page and it does NOT answer my question, is the licensed version the same download as the sdk, am i getting a executable file to go into the engine or sumthing i need visual c++ to build a solution etc..

I had thought i asked it before fairly explicitly but let me rephrase:

when i buy a lic is it a different download then the free version sdk?

if its a different download do i need visual c++ to build any part of it?

RE: free versus paid lic
You get the very same download + editor, the difference is that you get more source code of the engine/games.

if you have some glitches please try updating your system:

yes you need visual c++ to make exe's, but I am working on built-in C++ compiler right now

I also have this problem and will test with above suggestions.

ok installation went ok for me, but the updater keeps auto-detecting a path to another drive that i used to have visual c++ on and i don't see a way to remove that path from your auto-detect to finish the header files updates..

RE: free versus paid lic
also editor is still way stretched beyond my screen resolution and changing my setting doesnt effect it, still have to control alt delete to close it since the buttons at top and right dont show at all
