SOPA/PIPA
So, the internet is going down tomorrow. Google and Wikipedia have both signed on.

Thoughts?

RE: SOPA/PIPA
I was hoping that at least one of the two giants would sign up. I'm very happy to see that they both did.

RE: SOPA/PIPA
Many american websites are going down in protest to the SOPA/PIPA acts.
A full list of all the sites going down can be found here: http://sopastrike.com/.

Here is why Riot games is opposed to the act: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/show...ight=sopa.

It threatens live streams and a whole lot more.

Oh Aceio, you silly American... wink

Serious now, it turned out much better than I thought it would be. Both google and wikipedia joining in definitely must have had an impact.
However, it's not over yet. The act has been shelved and will be undergo some changes, but it'll be back at some point.

On a side note, making fun of/disliking other "groups" (country in this case) is basic human nature. Sometimes I just think technology evolves much faster than us humans. The *hate* towards other nations was probably useful for a long time, but now it's a redundant human feature.
