Editor Multi-screen support
Hello,
For me the editor v2 runs twice as fast in fullscreen mode.
But it goes to my primary screen, and I can't access the start/apps bar.
Any chance you can put in a screen selection option?

Or does anyone know of a way to make it fullscreen on secondary screen?

RE: Editor Multi-screen support
Does anyone actually use the editor in fullscreen?
It crashes after returning from running the build.
Also, It doesn't release context to the other screen :(

In window mode I'm getting around 20fps.
In fullscreen it's around 140fps!
I have everything turned off.

I don't have nvidia drivers (with all the cool settings), my machine has a cheap intel/dell GPU (with no cool settings).
I installed a few window/taskbar apps but they don't work with the editor.

I can't maximise the editor because it goes into full screen on my primary and it auto rotates??
I can't stretch it out, because it will do as above! :(

Greg, can you please tell me how to maximise your editor?, your editor is making me feel like a single cell organism.
Hope you can help.
Gwald.

PS: the editor is using 1 core from my i5 2.7Ghz running XP pro SP3 32bit 4gigs ram dell, (yes I downgraded from win7 to xp).
Same when it's on the menu window or with nothing rendering.
Nothing when minimised thankfully smile

Is the biggest I can make it,but there's still 1/3 of the screen it can use.

RE: Editor Multi-screen support
Hi Gwald,

I have a similar problem with steam when playing full screen games. I found a utility called
"Make Primary Monitor" which allows me to map a keyboard shortcut to change my primary monitor. It is kind of a work around but you can switch the primary monitor when working with Esenthel and then easily switch back when you are not.

RE: Editor Multi-screen support
Hey Ozmodian!
Cool, thanks for the tip, i'll see if I can install it smile
It turns out the high CPU usage is due to all the tuts file (which is fair enough), it's fine in a project (with less files/objs etc).

Cheers smile

Hey Ozmodian,
I installed it, but it must require a newer version of .net so no luck.
I think it's the dell video card struggling with two monitors.
I get 100fps on my laptop.

Anyway, good feature to have in the editor and engine
