EE 2 pre-purchase questions
Hi,

1. What features are not available in EE 2 Demo compare with EE 2 full?

2. Can I use VS 2012 Express?

3. Should I install DirectX SDK? if yes which version should I install?

Thank you.

RE: EE 2 pre-purchase questions
1) Projects are limited to 64 elements, there are no shadows, some other small limitations
2) Yes
3) There's no need for DirectX SDK

That is not dependent on EE but on VS 2012 Express, if it supports 64-bit then EE will build 64-bit apps.

RE: EE 2 pre-purchase questions
I just install VS 2010 C++ Express and Windows SDK 7.1. In Esenthel building 32-bit application is fine.

When I try to build 64 bit, Esenthel prompt "Visual Studio Express 2008 and 2010 does not support building 64-bit applications."

I checked I can select x64 in Visual Studio project configuration. So how to fix the x64 build?

Another question, now I purchase the license under my name, if I setup a company later, can I transfer the license to the company?

Please try VS 2012 express, I think it supports 64-bit.

There is no transferring required. You just purchase license under your Esenthel Store account, and that's accessed by your email address.

RE: EE 2 pre-purchase questions
My Windows is Vista 64-bit Ultimate, I tried 2012 Express but setup fail, so I go back to VC 2010 Express. I installed all the needed SDK and compiler patch, now the VC2010 C++ Express can build 64-bit application.

However Esenthel editor seems denied 64-bit export for VS 2010 Express. Could you let the editor allow 64-bit build for VS 2010?

After successfully build 64-bit VC 2010 project and Android build I will purchase a 2.0 license smile

RE: EE 2 pre-purchase questions
Next release will not prevent from compiling 64-bit apps when in VS Express.

Thanks smile

I have EE 1.0 license, but not use it yet. Can I use it to trade for EE 2.0 with reduced price?
