Trying skinning features issues

Trying skinning features issues
Hi, i'm testing skinning features, but i not able to assign a bone to a mesh part...

I doing like this:
(1) create bone
(2) select skin option
(3) select mesh part
(4) when trying to select bone, the bone seems to be not selected at all, so when trying to assign the bone to the mesh part nothing happens...

Have someone tried this with success? Maybe i'm doing something wrong here?

Hi,

When you're in "Skin" mode, you need to select "Select Bone" sub-mode.
Then you can select bones with left mouse-click, just tested and it works.
Let me know if you're still having issues.

Hi, i've seen that works... i was not seeing any effect because i haven't noticed that the assign is visible in vertexes and not by painted faces like in blender for example.

I see how it works now, thanks!

Just a doubt, is there anyway to test this in editor - transform bones and check how mesh is affected?

Oopss, sorry i just found the Animation editor smile thanks anyway!
