How to use the new engine skins ?
I'm guessing this is a stupid question, but I can't seem to figure out how to make use of the new engine skins that are so praised and look nice on facebook; How can I use them in my engine?

Hello,

You need to press f12/video options and toggle the gui skin option.

Thanks, that's great!

Is there a way to use them in our application (if we're allowed to do that?) Or at least just import them so i can inspire myself for all the skin settings that are overwhelming me now? grin

The skin sources are included as part of the Engine Source License, and also here:

I'd like to encourage all 2D/UI Artists to make your own skins and put them to Esenthel Store! You can earn some money.

That's pretty slick. How does one go about adding a custom skin to the list of existing skins? I poked around with the skin sources, but I'm not sure what to do next.
I'm looking at just increasing the font sizes in the Neon skin, as the font used is a bit hard to read in some cases, but the skin is pretty sweet.
(On an unrelated note- what is the difference between skin and skin+ and why is it slower?)

Skin+ uses blurred transparency on windows, like aero glass in Windows OS.
you can't change the font size, the neon font has just small characters unlike other fonts, however that's the best Sci Fi font I was able to find. You can always just increase the global gui scale.
