"Insert" key
Hello,
I'm programming on a mac. However, I'm having problems using the world editor, because my macbook pro has no insert key.
I have looked on the forums, and seen the suggestion of: fn+enter.
I've also googled and seen various suggestions, including fn+m, fn+alt+enter, fn+ctrl+enter. None of these have had any success.
I've tried all combinations of fn+<key> and fn+alt+<key>. The closest effect I can do was with the '>' key, which selected an area in the terrain editor in black. However, I didn't seem to have any success in applying a material to the square I had highlighted.
Ideas?

RE: "Insert" key
you select material with RMB from material brush, then apply RMB on the terrain

RE: "Insert" key
But how can apply a material if he has no ground tiles to begin with?

RE: "Insert" key
hrm, yeah, I'm guessing that using '>' to select the ground tiles isn't working.
The ground tiles are black rather than white, is that right?
And also, using RMB doesn't seem to make any difference to painting the terrain.

RE: "Insert" key
on mac the '.' (>) inserts tiles, so probably you have them already
why they are black maybe you have no light? probably disabled it or selected invalid data path during editor startup.
remove path.txt, editor*.txt files
restart the editor, select SDK data path
