Terrain mesh questions
Hello,
Esenthel, can you please give us some more information about the mesh used for the terrain, please ?
Nb of vertices ? (variable depending on the resolution, or fixed ?)
During the editing, Is the number of vertices fixed, or do you have a tesselation system ?
I tried to look at the mesh in wireframe mode, but it's seems in the editor that there is LOD, so the displayed mesh is a bit heterogeneous :/

RE: Terrain mesh questions
The number of vertices can be different if you use multiple materials per mesh, otherwise it's constant. But of course if mesh simplification is applied (always on in the terrain world editor then the number of vertices will be completely different for multiple chunks).
You can use EE::Heightmap as it outputs a Mesh and then you can investigate that Mesh.
You can also consider getting the Source license to investigate how it works internally.
Thanks
