Another feature request, I'd like for imported textures to have the possibility to either be rescaled or allow for making a duplicate lower res, instead of having it being done on publishing.

I'll add the option to resize images to a custom size in the Image Editor.
However for custom sizes on material textures, please use material editor "max image size" option.
